The simple answer is no.

SoE nerfed actual area kiting a while back. Bard area effect songs will no longer harm a mob if you are moving.

An alternative to this is charm or swarm kiting.

First time playing everquest started about 2 months ago on mischief server. Made a ERU Mage and now I'm lvl 60 and I have no idea what to do or farm or how to find what quests give good gear for me. I'm lost and a lil anxious/shy to keep asking guildies starting to make me feel like an annoyance. If yall could just list items or quests even reps I should be grinding. Heck if your able to up to luclin so I can save this post and look back as I progress I would be eternally grateful! Also I am part of a guild and raid 3 times a week but that's just a few hours each time. Any Classic Servers?

I played EQ back when it first came out for a few years. I’ve gone back to it a few times here and there but always missed the original game before the mass of expansions. So I've recently came back to EQ after a very long hiatus (having a blast!) and need to determine the best class to add to my small group of friends and existing classes. There are 5 of us and I am thinking about boxing the last man for a full group. I'm not sure what to roll however - its been close to 15 years since I played last! We currently have the existing group make up below, we're all in our 60's with a handful of AAs, and looking for some input as to what we should include. Thanks in advanced!
